Looking Forward

Yesterday, a guest speaker visited our Photojournalism class. He started taking pictures of the Burmese people in this area, then his boss sent him to Burma! The pictures were phenomenal--National Geographic quality! This guy, he knew what it was all about. I was blown away throughout the whole presentation. He was also very funny and entertaining. I think I have a new favorite local photographer. I've tried finding his series on Burma on the Internet, but without success. I may take the effort to e-mail him for more info. I'm that interested. Whoo! Hooray for inspiration!

My next photography project requires me to take photos of a treasure chest in different places. I'm excited. It's a class project, so we'll get to see what everyone else did at the end of the project. Our professor showed us a slide show of her last class' photos and it was pretty cool; I'm just glad I don't have to lug around a full-size chair like they did.

I recently became an apprentice/guide for ChaCha search. It's a service that allows you to have a guide assist you in your searches, rather than a robot. Pretty cool idea, non?
