Childhood Snippets, Part 1

Before I was seven years old, my parents were making me take art and penmanship lessons. I remember my Mom dropping me off at the art teacher's (an elderly man) house with a couple avocados so that I could have a nice snack at the end of my lesson. My teacher was so nice, he would take those avocados and turn them into delicious avocado smoothies! Art lessons were definitely worth it just for the snacks. I'm terrible at drawing.
